Arthur Vonchek - CEO, Bolero

Arthur Vonchek was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Bolero in July 2003. He has 25 years experience in the software industry, and has held a number of senior executive positions including SVP EMEA at Manugistics, a leader in Supply Chain Management solutions and SVP EMEA at BroadVision, an early e-Commerce market leader.

Arthur was educated at Bristol University in England where he received an honours Degree in Pure Mathematics.

Claire Buchanan – SVP Global Field Operations

Claire Buchanan has over 20 years of senior business development and sales experience in the software sector. Claire joined Bolero from Longitude and Latitude, a specialist enterprise solutions strategy consultancy.

Claire has held a number of senior executive positions including EMEA Vice President for Crystal Decisions, EMEA Vice President for The Fantastic Corporation and Northern EMEA Vice President at Filenet Corporation.

Luc Volckaert – Chief Technology Officer

Luc Volckaert oversees Operations, Product Management and Development. For more than 30 years he has been responsible for bringing mission critical products and services to the market.

Luc joined Bolero in 2000 from SWIFT, the provider of network services to the banking community. At SWIFT he held the position of Director of Business Solutions and delivered secure network services for CREST, CLS, RTGS+ and EnquiryLink. As Chief Architect he was responsible for architecting the Next Generation of the SWIFT services.

Prior to joining SWIFT, Luc worked for CAP Gemini managing fixed price projects delivering solutions to major Belgian Corporates.

Luc started his career in public switching and telecommunications with Alacatel.

Paul Mallon – Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs (co-founder)

Paul Mallon, a barrister, was a founder member of the Bolero team and has been part of the company for seven years. He is the architect of the Bolero Rulebook and Bolero’s legal structures. He also acts as General Counsel and Company Secretary.

Prior to joining Bolero, Paul was General Counsel and Company Secretary of TT Club, which is a leading global insurer of marine liability risks for ship owners, logistics providers, ports and terminal operators.

Ham Patel – Vice President Client Engagement

Hamendra (Ham) Patel joined Bolero in 2005. After graduating from City University, London, with an Honours Degree in Computer Science he started his working career with the Prudential Assurance Corporation as an analyst programmer.

Ham moved to Crystal Decision a leader in the field of Business Intelligence software. Over the next 12 years, he held varied positions from technical support, technical consultant, EMEA marketing manager to director strategic accounts and alliances. Ham combines a wide range of technical skills with commercial knowledge gained from working in different international environments.
