Bolero will be exhibiting at the Mumbai event with CEO Ian Kerr moderating the panel

London, 14th February 2017: Bolero International, the leading trade finance digitisation solution provider, today announced it will be exhibiting at the GTR India Trade and Treasury Conference in Mumbai. Bolero CEO Ian Kerr will moderate a panel looking at ‘Trade digitization and its application for India: successfully implementing fintech into your company model’ between representatives from HSBC and Reliance Industries.

Reliance Industries will be represented by Rugved Dhumale, Deputy Treasurer, Petrochemicals and HSBC India will be represented by Rakesh Patwari, Head of Business Development, Global Trade and Receivables Finance. The panel will reflect on the first digital transaction between HSBC and Reliance, completed using Bolero’s platform, and will explore the potential benefits and challenges of trade digitisation and how Reliance Industries brings this to realisation, as well as exploring how trade digitisation supports the wider trade objectives in India.

In January Bolero, HSBC and Reliance Industries were awarded ‘best trade finance strategy’ in Corporate Treasurer Asia’s Best Treasury and Finance Strategy awards, recognizing the first single-day electronic letter of credit (LC) for an export deal in India.
